Pricing FAQ
- Do we need to bring our own API keys?
- No. There are zero API keys to manage on your end. FundMemo runs every model and data provider — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Perplexity, and our bank-statement parsers — under our own accounts, and all usage is included in your per-seat subscription. You will never be asked to paste a key into Settings, and there is no BYO-key tier.
- Are model and data-provider costs included in the price?
- Yes. Every model call, every bank-statement parse, and every third-party lookup is included in your subscription. We absorb provider price changes, manage rate limits, fall back across providers when one is degraded, and handle billing disputes with vendors directly so your underwriters never have to.
- Is there a free trial?
- No free trial. Pilot is our entry plan — $999/month, up to three underwriters. Prepay annually for $8,991 and save three months.
- Can we start small and expand?
- Yes. Most teams begin on Pilot, then move to Desk once two or three underwriters are using FundMemo daily. We'll prorate the upgrade and credit unused Pilot time.
- Do you offer discounts for funders running multiple ISOs or desks?
- Yes — Enterprise pricing is volume-based across all desks under one parent org. Contact us with seat count and monthly deal volume for a quote.
- How is data isolated between tenants?
- Every org's data is isolated by Postgres Row-Level Security (RLS) — on every tier. Tables carrying deal data (deals, documents, memos, judge outputs, debate runs, SDF audit) only allow reads and writes when the caller is a member of that org_id, enforced by security-definer functions (is_org_member / is_org_admin). Server functions run under the user's auth context so RLS is the bottom line, not just an app-layer check. The Supabase service-role key never reaches the browser, Stripe webhooks are signature-verified before any write, and we never train models on your deal data.
